Spoony Launches Podcast for Disabled and Neurodivergent Voices
Online community platform Spoony is expanding its presence with the launch of a new podcast, “No Spoons to Give,” aimed at amplifying the voices of neurodivergent, chronically ill, and disabled individuals. Spoony, designed as a community safe space where users don’t need to worry about being judged, has been a notable new addition to the social media space due to its overall goals of being as inclusive and supportive as possible.
Hosted by Spoony community team members Larissa and Maddy, the podcast will feature weekly conversations with members of the Spoony community, sharing their lived experiences, challenges, and successes. The show aims to provide a space for connection and visibility, reflecting the realities of those navigating life with disabilities and chronic conditions.
The launch aligns with Spoony’s broader mission of fostering an inclusive and supportive digital space for disabled and neurodivergent people. By bringing these stories to a podcast format, Spoony is offering another way for its community to engage with and uplift each other.
It’s been less than a month since Spoony raised $1 million in a funding round, and the platform is already making pushes to expand its reach and presence in new mediums. New episodes of “No Spoons to Give” will be released every Wednesday and are available on all major podcast platforms – and there’s a good chance that the podcast is far from the only big addition that Spoony will be getting this year.
