The Sports Portal Launches App for Athletes, Coaches, and Brands
Austin-based startup The Sports Portal, has introduced a new social app structured around four key user groups: athletes, coaches, sports organizations, and sports brands. This includes young athletes and their parents, who now have a central hub platform that they can use to get involved in more in-depth sporting events and showcases.
Athletes can create profiles to showcase achievements, connect with peers, and explore new teams or events. Parents benefit from this feature as well, gaining insight into potential teams and coaches for their children. Coach profiles, meanwhile, operate as digital resumes, highlighting achievements, sharing techniques, and providing insights into coaching styles and philosophies.
The app also serves organizations, enabling them to manage team rosters, announce events, and streamline communication. Organizations can showcase their programs, invite players, and engage with their communities. Athletes are able to submit feedback, with the aim being to create better sporting events overall. For sports brands, The Sports Portal offers a direct line to their customer base, enabling them to engage through posts, polls, and content related to sports health.
While obviously meant for a specific niche, the new Sports Portal app could be a surprisingly useful – and profitable – new release. The platform has opened itself to outside investors and is currently available on both IOS and Android devices.
