Pinterest Launches AI-Powered Automated Ad Campaigns
Pinterest has introduced Performance+, a new AI-driven suite designed to automate advertising campaigns. Similar to Meta’s Advantage+ campaigns, Performance+ leverages machine learning and Pinterest’s internal user data to streamline every step of the ad process, including targeting, budgeting, bidding, and even ad creation.
The Performance+ suite offers automation for advertisers focusing on Consideration, Conversions, or Catalog Sales objectives. Advertisers can choose full automation or maintain control over specific elements of their campaigns. Pinterest reports that during testing, most advertisers experienced at least a 10% improvement in cost per acquisition (CPA) or cost per click (CPC) for conversions and consideration campaigns.
One standout feature is the integration of AI-powered image generation tools, enabling Pinterest to assist with creative tasks like background creation, further simplifying the ad production process.
