LinkedIn Launches iHeartRadio Podcast for Gen-Z Audiences

LinkedIn has taken a significant step in expanding its content offerings by launching its first Gen Z-focused podcast, “Let’s Talk Offline,” in partnership with iHeartRadio. Hosted by LinkedIn Career Development Editor Gianna Prudente and Community Manager Jamé Jackson Gadsden, the podcast is meant to offer insight and guidance in the early stages of a career.

The podcast aims to provide practical advice on how to succeed professionally without compromising personal values, mental health, or work-life balance. As LinkedIn describes it, the show will tackle those “unfiltered questions about work, life, and how they overlap,” which many young professionals might hesitate to ask in a traditional work setting.

This new podcast is part of LinkedIn’s broader strategy to build out its original podcast content, a venture that began with the launch of its Podcast Network in 2022. Since then, LinkedIn has developed a variety of branded podcasts centered on professional growth and career skills, establishing itself as a valuable resource for career-minded individuals.

The collaboration with iHeartRadio is particularly noteworthy, as it significantly broadens the potential audience for LinkedIn’s podcasts. With iHeartRadio’s extensive reach—over 160 million podcast downloads each month—LinkedIn’s content is poised to gain greater visibility and impact.

As podcast listenership continues to grow globally, now reaching approximately 460 million regular listeners, LinkedIn’s strategic move into this space aligns well with its mission to offer on-the-go learning and career insights. The sheer amount of potential listeners, especially those in Generation Z, would make the success of “Let’s Talk Offline” a major step forward for the platform.
