Threads Enhances Web Experience with New Features for Creators
Threads has introduced a major update to its web platform, aimed at boosting functionality for creators on their platform. These additions include advanced insights, scheduled posting, multiple-draft functionality, and proper insights tools.
Threads’ new draft management feature enables users to save up to 100 drafts of their posts. These posts can also now be scheduled, allowing for consistent posting right down to the exact minute that a user wants each of their planned posts to go live – giving all users some extra functionality with how they spread out their posting.
The updated insights tool allows users to analyze follower demographics and post performance in greater depth. Users can now track metrics such as views, replies, reposts, and quotes. Additionally, the tool provides data on follower growth and audience characteristics, including age, gender, and location.
Currently, these features are available exclusively on the Threads web version. Meta has indicated plans to extend these functionalities to mobile platforms in the future.
These updates mark a significant step forward for Threads, providing users with powerful tools to improve their social media presence and strategic planning. Businesses and creators can now leverage these new features to drive engagement and optimize their content strategies effectively.
Threads – which has often been criticized for lacking features compared to its biggest competitor X – has been slowly adding more and more tools that offer many of the same benefits. These new options are a huge push in the right direction, providing advantages to advertisers and creators whilst also giving regular users more control over how they use the platform.
