Snapchat Enhances Ad Tools to Support International Advertisers
Snapchat has reported an 85% increase in small and medium-sized business advertisers, significantly boosting ad revenue in the first half of the year. This growth is attributed to recent advancements in Snapchat’s advertising tools, which enhance user reach, ad quality, and overall performance.
Key improvements include upgrades to Lead Gen Ads, including enhanced lead optimization and integrated automation options. Snapchat has also refined its app ads with new bidding capabilities and better optimization for approaching different ad strategies.
Additionally, Snapchat is integrating generative AI into its ad tools. The new AI Lenses and GenAI Copy Generator facilitate ad creation through the platform itself, particularly for non-English markets. This comes not long after a number of AI improvements on other platforms, notably including TikTok.
This will not only enable SnapChat advertisers to create more targeted and refined ad campaigns, but could also mean that advertising as a whole becomes easier. The new generative tools allow smaller advertisers to quickly create ads that meet a range of different target audiences.
By being able to quickly localize ads for non-English markets, SnapChat is likely to develop a robust international ad network. These ad tools are set to further evolve in the future, giving advertisers even more options to play with.
